Slips,
Trips and Falls
We can assist in providing
information regarding the slip resistance and surface roughness of flooring
materials using specialist measuring equipment. Advice regarding the construction
of stairs, paths and pavements can also be given.

Manual Handling
Manual handling injuries account for a large percentage of reportable accidents and all of our Engineers have substantial experience investigating this type of accident. We advise on HSE recommendations and ergonomic considerations.
Respiratory
and Industrial Diseases, Upper
Limb Disorders, Noise and Vibration.
We can provide reports on noise induced deafness, asthma, asbestosis, dermatitis, vibration white finger and upper limb disorders. We conduct both accident investigations and factory surveys.
Railways and Trackwork
We have expertise in railway accident investigations and have particular expertise in the manufacture of rails, railway workshop equipment, electrical multiple units (EMU's), bogies and the construction and testing of switches and crossings. We have knowlege of safe systems of work including supervision by the Person in Charge of Work, co-ordination of look-out responsibilities and other work routines. We are also familiar with damage assessment of rolling stock and have conducted investigations into the failiure of slam doors. We were involved in the Potters Bar investigation.
Our extensive library and comprehensive case history archives enable us to ensure that the advice which we give is up-to-date and accurate. The work which we do is also to a large extent interchangeable between Engineers so that clients can be assured that if, for any reason, an Engineer becomes unavailable during an investigation then there will be someone within the company qualified to take his place and maintain the continuity of instructions.
